ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- A suspicious package forced authorities to close parts of Kingsley Avenue in Orange Park and  evacuate the town’s post office Saturday afternoon.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad as well as numerous other emergency agencies helped investigate the suspicious package in the parking lost of the post office located in the 1300 block of Kingsley Avenue.

Authorities say the package was harmless but are continuing their investigation into why the package was left in the parking lot.
