Target closing store in Orange Park

ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Target is closing a store in Orange Park.

The store on Wells Road is one of eight stores to be closed at the beginning of May.

Employees will be given a chance to transfer to other stores.

Target issued a statement saying it made the decision "after careful consideration of each location's financial performance."

when the faallout from the debit/credit scan hits the fan, they'll be closing a lot more stores... please close the st. aug. location... it serves no purpose other than to lighten the load at wally world...
