MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- A local teenager was taken to the hospital as a precaution after getting hit by a car.

This happened near Bluejay Drive and Highway 218.

The car's mirror grazed the 17-year-old as she walked along the side of the road. She was treated and released.

Sooooooo many idiots walk down 218, theres no walk ways and nobody actually sticks to the speed limits, not to mention zero visability at night. When I was in highschool my friend and her boyfriend walked down 218 and he was struck and killed while holding her hand. Kids, please for the love of god stay off high speed country roads.. you wouldnt take a stroll down 295 now would you?
