ELKTON, Fla. -- A young woman from Hastings is in the hospital after a crash on Highway 207 and Meadowbrook Road near Elkton.

A car slid off the road and ended up between two trees before slamming into a fence.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the driver was blinded by the heavy rainfall.
