JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two men have been arrested in the deadly beating of a 19-year old at a Friday night Bonfire off Old St. Augustine Rd.

Police say 25-year old Christopher Hoffman and 22-year old Robert Cline II were involved in the beating.

Hoffman was arrested on manslaughter charges and booked into the Duval County Jail without bond.

Cline admitted to punching Ford, and faces a lesser charge of battery.

Police say a large group of teens were in the woods around the bonfire when several fights broke out.

They say that's when Ford was punched numerous times until he passed out. Witnesses then drove Ford to a local hospital for help.

Action News has learned grief counseling will be made available at Pedro Menendez High School, where Ford attended.
