JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- After two weeks, the man accused of taking the life of a 17 year old as she slept is now behind bars.
Ismet Sijamhodzic, 51, was arrested Friday for vehicular homicide. Police say he ran a stop sign in his mini-van and drove into the bedroom of 17-year-old Wolfson High School student Janay Jackson on August 28. Jackson was sleeping in her bed at her parents' Southside home.
Action News has learned Sijamhodzic has a history of bad driving in Duval County.

Right now, he's being held in the Duval County jail on $250,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for October 8.
