Teen missing from Volusia County found safe

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. -- The Volusia County Sheriff's Office has found 17-year-old Nicole Crowder. She was found safe in Seminole County. No other details are available.

Crowder was last seen over the weekend on the beach near the Econo Lodge in the 1600 block of South Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach Saturday evening. She is 5 foot 3 inches, 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. 

She has the mental capacity of a 9-year-old and needs medications, which she does not have with her. 

Her family reported her missing to authorities around 8:45 Saturday evening. Crowder is visiting family in the Central Florida area from Missouri.

Crowder was seen with an unknown black man and black woman around 5:30 p.m.
