This is a tragic loss of life that was totally preventable, the victim's family lives four houses down the road from me. I feel for his grieving mother and hope the Lord will now be looking out for Jarrod Peterkin who still had a very bright future to live. God Bless.

I drove by this intersection yesterday morning and saw the car and news team. I drove by again this morning and saw a teenage boy, who probably lost his friend yesterday, sitting on the sidewalk drawing with chalk and my heart ached for him. Prayers for the family and friends of that young man. I will be holding my children a little closer today.

People are in to big of a hurry, they will not stop at a red light, they are scared someone might get ahead of them so for most of them RED means GO Faster. Go to any intersection and watch no matter if there are cameras or not. One thing when your are in the intersection when the light turns yellow or red. But when you have plenty of time to stop people speed up and blow right through the light. My heart goes out to the family who lost a son today and our prayers will be with you. For the driver this didn't have to happen maybe people will learn to slow down and look out for others
