JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A partly cloudy, warm evening for the **Friday Night Blitz** -- High School football tonight.  A few showers will be scattered across the area but will be few and far between.  The weekend will be very warm with plenty of sun.  Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s inland...low to mid 80s at the beaches.  A few widely scattered mostly inland showers will develop but most places will stay dry.  The beaches will be nice with water temperatures in the low to mid 80s on what will be the first day of fall -- the autumnal equinox arrives Saturday.  College football weather will be warm with temperatures close to 90 degrees in Gainesville at kickoff with the possibility of a brief shower.  The Seminoles' game is at night with kickoff at 8pm: partly cloudy with temperatures slowly falling from the 80s into the 70s.
