JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The 30s returned to the Jacksonville Metro Area Wednesday morning. It was a chilly change especially after the mild start we experienced Tuesday.
More huge swings in temperatures are expected in the coming days. Temperatures will soar Thursday afternoon prior to our next cold front. Expect a high close to 80 degrees before showers and thunderstorms roll in Thursday night.
This next cold front will set up a very chilly weekend, with frosts and freezes possible on Saturday and Sunday mornings. You should already prepare to protect sensitive plants and care for the pets during this period of near-freezing weather.
