Before long there will no firefighters because the entire fire budget will have to go to pay the pensions for the retirees

Imtellin, you obviously know nothing of how fire spreads. Cutting your brush may help a little, but when the wind picks up, it's going to your place no matter what.

Look at the picture,how many fire trucks do you see?One or two of those crews could have gone to get that brush truck!

and if folks cut down their brush to less hazardous levels,, they wouldn't have to be so concerned ??? no one wants a tax increase till it's knocking at their door !!! either pony up for services,, or quit complaining !!!
