Monday, May 6 - Executive Women's Day
8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Public event - Registration required)
The third annual Executive Women's Day will bring together 250 influential women from Northeast Florida in support of JAGirl$ program. The day includes a breakfast and lunch session, breakout sessions, and a keynote session by Lesley Visser, the most highly acclaimed female sportscaster of all-time. Media are invited, but must RSVP.
Monday, May 6 - World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum Induction Ceremony
6 p.m. (Public Event - Event ticket required)
The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum Induction Ceremony will once again be held on Monday of THE PLAYERS Championship week at the World Golf Village. Fred Couples, THE PLAYERS champion in 1984 and 1996, will be part of the Class of 2013, along with European Tour superstar Colin Montgomerie, Scottish legend Willie Park, Jr., former European Tour Executive Director Ken Schofield and U.S. Open champion and iconic broadcaster Ken Venturi. Media are invited, but must RSVP.

4-10 a.m. (Media event)
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host members of the media at its District Two Urban Office to help inform the traveling public of important safety measures prior to and during THE PLAYERS. Representatives from FDOT, THE PLAYERS, the Florida Highway Patrol, St. Johns County Sheriff's Office and more will be available for live or taped interviews about the Florida 511 Traveler Information System, best routes for those attending THE PLAYERS and other safety tips and travel advice for motorists who may be affected by increased congestion during the event. Media will get an insider's view of the FDOT District 2 Urban Office with hundreds of live traffic cameras monitoring Northeast Florida's busiest travel routes. Reporters will have access to report live inside the Urban Office in front of these camera feeds while interviewing experts in the field about travel plans and tips around THE PLAYERS.

Fans are encouraged to come out on Tuesday - the best day to get autographs and photos of the players. Signage around the course will direct fans to recommended spots to snap a photo and score an autograph.
Tuesday, May 7 - PGA TOUR Wives Association Golf Classic
1 p.m. shotgun start (Public event - Tournament ticket required)
In celebration of 25 years, the PGA TOUR Wives Association returns to Ponte Vedra Beach to host the TOUR Wives Golf Classic. The wives take to the course (Dye's Valley Course) while their husbands do the heavy lifting and bunker raking. Meet at the First Tee of Dye's Valley Course. Open to media.
Tuesday, May 7 - PwC First Tee Function
4-5 p.m. (Private event)
PwC, a Trustee of The First Tee and Proud Partner of THE PLAYERS Championship, will host approximately 200 local young people from The First Tee during Tuesday's practice round. Participants from The First Tee of St. Johns County and The First Tee of Jacksonville will face-off in a team competition in PwC's First Tee Challenge, located in Stadium Village, for an opportunity to receive a charitable donation from PwC. Teams will be captained by PGA TOUR players who are in THE PLAYERS field. Each chapter participant in attendance will have the opportunity to hit a shot and earn charitable dollars for his/her chapter. Open to media.
Tuesday, May 7 - Kuch's Krew and Portrait Unveiling
5:30 p.m. (Public event - Clubhouse ticket required)
Kurt Penn and his daughters Mia (9) and Tessa (7) will experience the week of a lifetime, thanks to winning THE PLAYERS Championship's "Kuch's Krew" contest. The Penns, who hail from Park Ridge, Ill., submitted a video explaining why they wanted to be in Matt Kuchar's fan club this week at THE PLAYERS and were chosen from three finalists by an online fan vote. The Penns earned an all-expense paid trip to Jacksonville, including flights, hotel accommodation, rental car, food expenses and, of course, week-long tickets to THE PLAYERS. As part of their experience, the Penns will have the opportunity to meet Kuchar in person, attend some VIP events with him and experience a PGA TOUR event from behind the scenes. One of the events they'll be a part of is the official unveiling of Kuchar's Champions Portrait on the second floor of TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Open to media.

Wednesday, May 8 - THE PLAYERS Championship Caddie Competition in memory of Bruce Edwards
All Day (Public event - Tournament ticket required)
Each year at THE PLAYERS Championship - during the Wednesday practice round - players and caddies switch roles when they arrive at the famous 17th hole, and the caddies get the opportunity to take a swing. Each player contributes to the prize fund and the caddie who ends up closest to the pin takes home the money. This is great tradition unique to THE PLAYERS and one that provides an added layer of entertainment for the fans, players and caddies alike. New this year, the competition has been renamed to honor Tom Watson's longtime caddie and friend Bruce Edwards, who passed away in 2004 from ALS or "Lou Gehrig's Disease." Also new this year, fans can keep track of how the caddies are doing, as closest-to-the-pin information will be provided on the leaderboards surrounding No. 17, and in addition to the prize money, the winning caddie will receive a VIP parking spot in the TPC Clubhouse lot, Thursday-Sunday of THE PLAYERS. Wednesday, May 8 - FCA Golf Breakfast with The Pros

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Golf has hosted a breakfast at THE PLAYERS Championship for nearly 30 years as a way for FCA members and PGA TOUR players to interact, share prayers and inspiration and use their stories to impact the lives of aspiring young golfers. All local area high school and college golf teams and coaches are invited to attend at no cost, thanks to table sponsors. Media are invited, but must RSVP in advance.
Wednesday, May 8 - THE PLAYERS First-timers Press Conference

All of the PGA TOUR players who are participating in their first PLAYERS Championship will come to the media center for a one-of-a-kind group press conference on Wednesday. For 2013, first-timers will include (already qualified): Ted Potter, JR., Jonas Blixt, Charlie Beljan, Russell Henley, Scott Brown, Joe Daley, Casey Wittenberg, Seung-Yul Noh, Martin Flores, William McGirt, Troy Kelly, Will Claxton, Jason Kokrak, David Mathis, Branden Grace, Jamie Donaldson, Thorbjorn Olesen, Nicolas Colsaerts , Gonzalo Fdez-Castano, George Coetzee and Billy Horschel (who lives in Jacksonville Beach). This is a great opportunity to get some one-on-one time with a variety of players from different backgrounds - all with one thing in common - an excitement for teeing it up at THE PLAYERS for the first time in their careers. Wednesday, May 8 - Birdies for the Brave Patriots' Outpost Grand Opening
11 a.m. (Military only - Tournament ticket required)
The Birdies for the Brave Patriots' Outpost will officially open at 11 a.m. on Military Appreciation Day with a special presentation of a TPC Summerlin membership to a wounded warrior. As part of the PGA TOUR's seven-year relationship with the Wounded Warrior Project, each TPC in the network extends a complimentary membership to a local wounded warrior to use golf and the club camaraderie as a rehabilitation tool. PGA TOUR Commissioner Finchem and a PGA TOUR player (TBD) will present wounded warrior Tyler Steinle with the TPC Summerlin membership. Steinle suffered several injuries resulting from IED blasts in 2009 and 2010 in Afghanistan while in service with in the Army. Also as part of the Grand Opening, Dell will present 10 laptops to wounded warriors. Open to media.
Wednesday, May 8 - Fan Meetup with Billy Horschel and Luke Guthrie

The PGA TOUR's fan meetup at THE PLAYERS is back for the fourth-straight year. On Wednesday, May 8, from 3-4 p.m., PGA TOUR social media fans will take over "The Patio," located near the 18th green, for an exclusive meetup with PGA TOUR stars Billy Horschel and Luke Guthrie. The meetup will include prize giveaways, autograph opportunities and special guest appearances.
To attend, fans must have a practice-round ticket for THE PLAYERS ($20 at Publix or Ticketmaster.com) and RSVP in advance through Eventbrite at http://theplayersfans2013.eventbrite.com. Practice round admission is good all day Wednesday, including the Military Appreciation Ceremony and Dierks Bentley concert, and tournament parking is free. Spend the day at THE PLAYERS watching your favorite players on the course, meet up with fellow fans in the afternoon and stay for a great show!

The Monique Burr Foundation for Children will host LIVE at The Lot with food, drinks and entertainment. Headlining the show will be Tishamingo a southern-rock, blues band. The opening act is Moors & McCumber. Kort McCumber is the nephew of Mark McCumber, past champion of THE PLAYERS. The Lot is located just outside the Nicklaus Gate in General Parking off of CR210. In honor of the 25th anniversary of the PGA TOUR Wives Association (PTWA), which was created in 1988 to support children's charities, the PTWA will be hosting a book signing of Beyond the Fairways and Greens - A Look Inside the Lives of PGA TOUR Families. On May 9, from 1-3 p.m., Sybi Kuchar (Matt), Kate Rose (Justin) and Amy Wilson (Mark) will be at the Jacksonville International Airport PGA TOUR Shop signing copies of this stunning "family album," which captures the Association's quarter century of charitable work and, through hundreds of heartwarming stories and family photographs, offers readers a rare glimpse into the lives of PGA TOUR families, both on and off the course. The signing will take place in the atrium (pre-security) in front of the PGA TOUR Shop. Open to media.

St. Johns County, AT&T and THE PLAYERS welcome Governor Rick Scott to meet with out-of-state business executives about relocation and/or expansion in Northeast Florida. Governor may host 3 VIP sessions in the Clubhouse starting at noon. Governor Scott will be at flash area outside of The Perch for media availability at approximately 5:10 pm.

For the 29th year, THE PLAYERS will host a Sunday morning service prior to the final round of the tournament, this year on the TPC Sawgrass Lower Clubhouse Lawn. Fans are encouraged to gather on the Lower Presentation Lawn for a sermon given by a local pastor. Seating will be provided and complimentary coffee and donuts are available for all in attendance. PGA TOUR player Kevin Streelman is scheduled to attend and give his testimony. Open to media (great live shot opportunity).

In celebration of mothers and in support of breast cancer research, fans are encouraged to wear pink on Championship Sunday. For every fan in attendance, a donation will be made to 26.2 with Donna.
