I have said it before and I will say it again~THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "SINGLE" PARENT! One is either unwed, divorced, or widowed! When this politically correct term became the norm, it is so overused. Pity people in this situation? NO! I have compassion for the children brought into this life by irresponsible people. The 28 year old with 7 children makes me so frustrated with this report. Where are the fathers? I understand there are some that face homelessness, poverty, hunger and the other "ills" that can happen with a hard economy, drug addiction, mental illness, but when people are already facing such hardships, yet continue to have children, it is due to their poor choices that bring them more hardship. Now they drag the kids through their lifestyle. nativejax~I get cranky when there is aid sent to other countries while we have problems here, but there has to be something done when there are situations/circumstances brought on such as this particular one featured in this report. Many of those receiving aid outside of our country are struggling due to war, famine, poverty beyond what any of us could imagine. Yes, there are many children born around the world that have little chance to rise above their "station" in life. But we are the United States of America. We are blessed beyond many others, yet there are still those that make poor choices and the media plays on general sympathies, ah the poor thing. All the while there continues to be people procreating without what appears to be no thought to the consequence of the care of said children. My prayer is always with these unfortunate children. I know the God I serve has a plan and whatever it is, He is with these little ones.

"I think we should audit the Federal Reserve... there is no entity in the world that controls our lives more than the Federal Reserve System." That's not just my opinion - Harry Reid himself said that. Our crooked leaders in our White House sends millions overseas to aid other countries, but places this problem of homelessness on us.
