PALM COAST, Fla. -- The Flagler County Sheriff's Office says thieves broke into a Palm Coast storage yard and burglarized 12 motor homes.

Deputies responded to the Kiwanis Storage Lot on Kiwanis Way about 12:08 p.m. on Friday. One motor home owner reported that bath towels, clothing and a flashlight had been stolen.

While investigating, deputies learned 11 other motor homes had also been broken into. Owners reported various items had been taken.

Deputies said entry to the yard appeared to have been made through a hole in the fence surrounding the storage area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at (386) 313-4911.
