JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- If you're on the hunt for a new career, now is the time to update those resumes, several job fairs are kicking off on Monday.

The First Coast Virtual Job Fair kicks off at midnight on Monday night. Work Source is teaming up with FSCJ to pair local companies with prospective employees. Action News caught up with Mayor Alvin Brown at another job fair Monday, and says Jacksonville is ranked third in the country when it comes to job availability.

"It's a great opportunity to come out and get a job so you can take care of your family but also you have a problem staying in your home, and under water in your mortgage you an also get assistance here too," said Mayor Brown.

If you're a Jags fan, you still have an opportunity to join their game day staff. The positions they're looking to fill include food service, merchandise, parking and security. That fair is from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Everbank field.
