PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office arrested three juveniles after a nighttime crime spree.
According to deputies, the trio ran away from home Sunday night then burglarized five vehicles, two sheds, and the Station 17 Volunteer Fire Department in Interlachen Lakes Estates.
Some of the property stolen from the various locations included a metal detector, a GPS unit, 2 fire extinguishers, fresh fish, a chainsaw, two butcher knives, three cases of compact discs, two bottles of cologne, two baseball gloves, a digital camera, a cellphone, various food items, a first aid kit, ammunition, a pair of bolt cutters and a garbage can.
All three juveniles are charged with burglary of a structure, grand theft, and criminal mischief. They were taken to a juvenile detention facility in Gainesville, Fla.
