ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.-- Three men were arrested late Thursday night on methamphetamine charges.
The arrests came after a tip that a wanted suspect was seen at the Motel 8 at 2550 S.R. 16.
Deputies approached a second-floor room, where they had just witnessed the suspect attempting to leave. The deputies knocked on the door and one of the male subjects answered.
Deputies entered the room to arrest David Bryan Green, 26, of St. Augustine, and saw signs of a meth lab.
The Clandestine Lab Enforcement Team responded and confirmed the lab was active.
Green and the two other suspects, Geoffrey Scott Carter, 33, of St. Augustine, and John Daniel McLeod, 26, of St. Augustine, were each charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, production of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia and were taken to the St. Johns County jail.
Following a first appearance hearing on Friday morning, Carter and McLeod are being held on bonds totaling $71,000 each. Green is being held on no bond as it relates to his warrant.
