JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Tim Tebow will be coming back to Jacksonville but this time he's taking his talents to the restaurant business.
According to Sleiman Enterprises, the Tampa based restaurant chain called PDQ, for which Tebow is an investor, will be setting up shop in an empty lot inside the Hodges Pointe Shopping Center.
Crews are expected to break ground as early as May.
Toney Sleiman says it's a project that has been in the works for the past six months.
"If you know what an In and Out Burger is and a lot people that have been out west know, this is the In and Out of chicken," said Sleiman.
Sleiman says the location was hand-picked by Tebow himself. Now it's just a matter of getting city permits approved.
"It's very exciting, my whole family we're all Gators we love the Gators. We love Tim Tebow and they're going to do great with it," said Sleiman.
Sleiman says it will be the first of four restaurants planned for Jacksonville, with plans for even more in the works.
"When you think about 60 to 70 people per store that's a lot of jobs and that's what we need in this city," said Sleiman.
The restaurant is expected to open its doors right around football season.
