You people are truely pathetic. Instead of feeling this family's pain you all want to judge and point fingers. This kind of accident could happen to anyone, even under a parents supervision...how many parent arent liscenced childcare providers? Does that mean a parent shouldnt have their kids? This family has gone through enough obviously without the ridicule of all of you jerks...

whosaysnocan to say the parents "got what they paid for" their child is on life support. So you are saying they deserve to lose their precious boy? To say that they same thing wouldn't happen in a licensed day care is complete crap. Just because they are licensed does not mean things can't happen. My infant child came home with bruises on his head from a licensed day care. They couldn't explain his bruises. YET this day care still has their license.

It is more than a 'freak accident'. It was being run by people who did not have the 'Professionalism' and PROOF of training it takes to save a child's life, ie, a license. This same kind of 'unproffessionalism' can be found everywhere, all the way to OBama. People get these 'jobs' illegally and THEY MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE when they allow someone to die under their care...just as OBama. Or it's murder as far as I'm concerned.

"A freak accident?" Quite a statement from this child's parent. These people got what they paid for in placing their precious children in the care of people that were not licensed and inspected by the state. These "care givers" paid no fees or any taxes to run their "day care" so they fly under the radar for the heath and safety of the children in their care. As for the freak accident comment, I do not consider it as such. It is incompetence, lack of vigilance one needs to have while caring for children. We have a pool and when our child was young there were many barriers to get out to it. When we were out at the pool, I took her in with me, NEVER EVER left her alone & when we had other kids over, they came in with me. As I have posted concerning the responsibilities one takes on in caring for our kids, it is the most exhausting thing to do. Some will argue how can I watch them every minute~YOU JUST DO IT! Or how can I watch several every minute~again YOU JUST DO IT! Or better yet, do not have any if you are not going to give your ALL to their care. I may have had one child of my own, yet I have cared for many before, during and after raising her. Now there are the other kids that were going to this home day care that the parents will have to place elsewhere. These parents will probably have to pay more for it. Such is the demands of having children.
