Really?? have you ever heard of compassion???? Maybe that child's purpose if fulfilled. Those people didn't throw the child in or mutilate the child. it was an accident. No matter what the police do to them. Their torment will be a torment of the heart which is a million times worse. DO NOT JUDGE UNLESS YOU HAVE WALKED IN THEIR SHOES

"Police say they hope parents take this tragedy as a warning sign to keep their children in their sights at all times and to childproof their homes." Really? You mean little ones can be unattended or live in a home that is not childproofed for their protection? I know the family is grieving, but recently there have been many instances of little ones "escaping" their dwelling and end up injured or die. Parenting/primary caretaker of children is the most exhausting thing any one can take on. It does not matter how tired or sick or stressed or whatever the excuse that one may use, if you are responsible for the safety of children, you must know where they are and what they are doing 24/7. It frustrates me when the parent/caregiver uses any excuse for the harm/death to a little one in their care. The end result is they will live with it and guilt is a difficult emotion to live with.
