JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Some welcome rain for metro Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia tonight but amounts will only average a tenth to a third of an inch with a few places possibly reaching a half inch.  A powerful cold front will quickly clear skies early Saturday followed by strong winds and cool temperatures during the day.  Highs will still manage to reach the 60s but northwest winds will gust up to 30 mph.  The true temperature crash will be Saturday night into Sunday with lows by early Sunday in the mid 20s well inland...to near 30 close to I-95...to the mid 30s near the beaches but with wind chills between 15 and 25 degrees!  Sunday will be sunny but breezy and chilly all day long.  Another very cold night Sunday night with near record lows early Monday in the 20s inland and low 30s near the coast.
