LAKE CITY, Fla. -- The Lake City Police Department has arrested a man found with methamphetamines during a routine traffic stop.

An officer pulled a truck over at 2:53 a.m. Saturday for speeding 16 miles over the speed limit. They say the driver, 38-year-old Ricki Bodziak, appeared nervous and was misleading when responding to the officer's questions. The officer called for back-up.

The back-up officer along with a K-9 officer arrived at the scene. The K-9 then alerted officers to Bodziak's drivers side door. Inside, officers found a clear plastic bag containing several white/clear crystals. Those crystals tested positive for methamphetamine.

Bodziak was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and was booked on a $6,000 bond.
