GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- A woman from Gainesville is in the hospital with minor injuries after a tree fell on her car.

The woman was driving down West University Avenue when a large oak tree fell over.

The tree brought down several power lines.

GRU disconnected the power lines as firefighters turned to the "jaws of life" to get the woman out of her car.

Gainesville Fire Rescue says there was another car and patient involved who had minor injuries.
