JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Tropical Depression Twelve became official as of 11 AM Thursday, continuing a very busy hurricane season. T.D. is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and will likely strengthen gradually. It is forecast to become "Leslie" as early as later today. Early indications are that Tropical Depression Twelve will move northwest over the weekend then turn north into the Northern Atlantic.
