JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Action News has just gotten word from DBi Services, the maintenance crew that has been working to fix the flooding issue on San Jose Boulevard, that portions of the roadway will be closed through the evening and into Friday.

We have learned the crews spent much of the day underground with cameras trying to locate a blockage in the drainage system and were unsuccessful. They will return Friday morning to continue searching.

They say after the block is located, it should be an easy fix. They will unclog it then pump the water off the roadway.

Action News is told they aren't worried about the flooding getting worse Thursday night even with more rain because the roadway is on a slant. At this point, a right turn lane and a second lane northbound plus a small section southbound will be closed through the night.
