Tropical depression forms off of Florida's east coast
MIAMI, Fla. (CBS) -- Dorian has managed to reorganize, forming into a tropical depression Saturday morning.
At last report, Tropical Depression Dorian was about 85 miles of Cape Canaveral with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph.
The storm is heading north at 6 mph.
Dorian is expected to continue on its current path Saturday, and then a gradual turn toward the northeast is expected on Sunday.
While the storm did regain strength, it's expected to remain well offshore of the coast of Florida.
