JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The remnants of tropical depression #7 have regenerated into tropical storm "Helene" over the extreme Western Gulf of Mexico. "Helene" will move slowly to the northwest making landfall on the Mexican coast south of Texas late Friday night into Saturday. As long as the storm does move inland, significant strengthening will not occur. Some of the tropical moisture with the storm will stream northeast toward Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia next week possibly enhancing an already wet weather pattern for the local area.
