ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A1A North at Magnolia Street has been reopened following reports of a pizza delivery truck hitting a pedestrian.

The St. Augustine Police Department says a pedestrian was flown to UF Health with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a vehicle. Police could not confirm whether that vehicle was a pizza delivery truck.

The driver was taken to Flagler Hospital as a precaution.

The intersection was blocked for several hours while police investigated. The investigation is ongoing.
