LAKE CITY, Fla. -- Two people were arrested during a traffic stop after police found chemicals in their car used to make meth.
On Wednesday afternoon, police pulled over Keith Wheeldon, 31, and Chaylen Ortega, 22, for a tag violation.
Deputies found lithium batteries, pseudoephedrine and a container of muriatic acid inside the car which are all used to make methamphetamine.
Wheeldon and Ortega were charged with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and were booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility.
