GLEN ST. MARY, Fla.-- A teenager and a man from Baker County were critically hurt in an ATV crash in the flooding aftermath of Tropical Storm Debby.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Corey Nielson, 28, of Sanderson, drove his ATV around a road block and crashed when the ATV hit a section of Cow Pen Road that had been washed out.

Nielson suffered critical injuries in the crash.

His 16-year-old passenger suffered critical injuries as well.  Authorities took him to Baker County Medical Center and then transfered him to UF & Shands Hospital in Jacksonville.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the ATV driver will be ticketed for improper ATV operation on a highway and driving around a detour.
