DELAND, Fla. (WFTV) -- Officials say two people attending Volusia County's Cracker Day festivities were injured by a bull this afternoon.

According to witnesses, a woman was participating in a "Grab the Tag" event, where participants attempt to retrieve a tag from a bull's ear in an effort to win money, when the bull turned on her.
Volusia County Fire Rescue officials say the bull ran after the woman and struck her in the arm.

She was tranported to DeLand Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials say a man was also injured by the same bull and transported to DeLand Hospital.

The incident, which occurred around 1:20 pm did not affect the remainder of the Cracker Day events.
