JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two Duval County men have been indicted on separate counts of human trafficking by federal prosecutors.

Clive Sephas Nelson, 23, is accused of offering up a girl for sex. The indictment alleges the act took place between Nov. 29 and Dec. 15, 2013. Nelson faces life in prison, if convicted.

Erick George Brooks, 29, is accused of forcing a woman into the underground sex trade from December 2012 through May 2013. He also faces life in prison, if convicted.

A joint task force enforcing the Violence and Protection Act arrested both suspects.
