FORT WHITE, Fla. -- Two men were arrested on burglary and grand theft charges Tuesday after a shed was burglarized.
Deputies from the Columbia County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a home off Southwest Weasel Court about 4 p.m. The homeowner said someone was burglarizing her shed. Her security company provided deputies with a description of the two suspects and their vehicle.
A black SUV was at the scene when deputies arrived but, deputies said, the suspects fled the area on foot. A deputy found Jimmy Rowan as he walked out of the woods. The second suspect, Don Junior Wyatt, was found later in the woods near the victim's home.
Deputies said they also found stolen property in the suspects' vehicle. Both men were booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility.
