JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The State Attorney's Office has announced two men are guilty for crimes committed last year. One was found guilty of aggravated battery and the other pled guilty to armed robbery, aggravated battery and kidnapping.

Attila Makranczy was convicted Wednesday of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon on a person 65 years of age or older and criminal mischief. Police say last April he attacked another man who honked his horn at him when Makranczy cut him off in traffic. Makranczy attacked the 69-year-old victim with a bat.

Michael Crider pled guilty to charges of armed robbery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and kidnapping. In May of last year, Crider pulled a gun on a man during a drug deal. He then took the victim's money and drove off with him in the car.

Crider was sentenced to two years in prison. Makranczy will be sentenced in August.
