JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two people died in a crash on JTB.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a car with three people inside went off the road just east of I-295, and hit a group of trees.
The 23-year-old driver, John Stevens, died in the crash. The FHP says he was not wearing a seat belt. Passenger Cullen Johnson, 21, was also killed. He was wearing a seat belt.
Jacob Williams, 20, is at UF Health in Jacksonville with serious injuries. He wasn't wearing a seat belt.
Investigators say alcohol may have played a factor in the crash. Blood alcohol test results are pending.
