Two victims improve after crash on Southside Boulevard

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One child has been released from the hospital while another child is improving

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. near Ivey Road.

Police say a car going south on Southside Boulevard crossed the median and hit five other cars.  One person had to be cut from their car.  8 people were taken to the hosptial.

The car that caused the crash had two children inside.  We're told the 14 year old has been released from the hospital, and the 2-year-old is now stable.

The road is now open.
