Makes you wonder now if they ever found that Chief that went missing as well? Something could be going on here.

FYI I have been in the military and yes Admirals, Captains, and even Commanders can be AWOL. If they can't now then it is just another sign of government corruption.

We are going on the article above for dates. It states the body was not found till recently. Maybe you should have told them to list the dates and why it is so late making the news. The article was written implying it was found yesterday in the morning.

To those whom don't understand military...This is simple He's a Commander he has senior privileges beyond explanation. AWOL is not something that will occur from someone of his rank....But still he should have been checked on, I will agree!

He was found Feb 12. The police didn't release info regarding it being a homicide until Feb 26. His funeral was Feb 20. Please research before making hasty posts.

Something being overlooked he must been on leave. If he was gone that long 2 weeks dead and no one in Navy went looking for him for being AWOL something is wrong.

I was going to say the same thing. I mean most hotels after 3 days of a do not disturb have to knock on the door to check on the guest. I use to clean rooms and that was our policy. Someone must have turned the air on freezing to keep them from smelling it. That's just crazy though.
