UNF students robbed at gunpoint near campus

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Several University of North Florida students are doing OK Sunday after being robbed  at gunpoint last night along First Coast Technology Parkway, near the main campus.

According to a release, three students told police they were walking toward Osprey Fountains when they were approached by a woman with a gun. 

The students reportedly complied with the woman's demands for money.

The robber was last seen heading south on Kernan Boulevard.

She is described as having blonde hair, about 5'3" tall, and could wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the University Police Department at 904-620-2800 as they are assisting with the investigation.
