PALM COAST, Fla. -- A man who allegedly posted a threat to blow up a middle school was upset about his lost dog according to police.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office says Benjamin Perrine, 43, threatened to blow up his neighborhood, including Buddy Taylor Middle School early Wednesday morning. The 43-year-old was arrested around 12:15 a.m. Deputies searched his home but did not find any explosives.

According to the report, Perrine told investigators he thought someone killed his dog. He was also upset with officers coming to his home because of noise complaints filed by his neighbors.
