JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police need your help finding a killer.  They say Thomas Schadowski, of Yulee, was shot and killed Wednesday night while driving along Dunn Avenue near I-295.  Investigators believe it was a road rage incident.

Investigators say someone reported hearing gunfire shortly before 8 p.m.  When police arrived on scene, they found Schadowski's vehicle crashed into the tree line.  He was dead in the driver's seat.

Now, the search is on for the shooter.  Police say an SUV was spotted in the area.  They're looking for a burnt orange Chevy Avalanche or Cadillac Escalade EXT, with a FAMU license plate.

"People are getting crazy," said Northside driver Yolanda Mew.

"I was kind of scared about it because I go to school here," said FSCJ North Campus student Teresa Miller.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.  You will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if your tip leads to an arrest.
