Video of Gainesville gas station robbery released
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Police have released new information in the search for a man they say held up a convenience store Wednesday in northeast Gainesville.
The Gainesville Police Department says the unidentified man walked into the BP gas station in the 2200 block of NE Waldo Road around 6 p.m. and demanded money.
The man is believed to be in his 20s or 30s and was wearing dark jeans, a gray sweater and a hat at the time of the holdup.
No one was reported to be hurt, and the man was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Tipsters can also provide anonymous information by texting keyword "GPDFL" and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES).
