Violent Crimes Task Force investigating double shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened Saturday morning in the 8700 block of Merseyside Avenue in Northwest Jacksonville.

One of the victims in the case was en route to the hospital when he or she flagged down a Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department vehicle, according to JSO. 

Sgt. Mattson says another victim walked into UF Health Jacksonville several hours later with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the back. 

The Violent Crimes Task Force continues to investigate the double shooting and did not release additional details at the scene.

Keep up the EXTERMINATION'eventuly there won't be any more democratic voters or moochers of the tax base.

It appears to me that there is a shooting in Northwest Jacksonville several times a week. Such a shame that innocent lives are being slaughtered there. Something should be done. We really need to repent and ask the Lord to heal our land. I pray for justice too.
