VyStar Credit Union's location in Palatka High School approved
PALATKA, Fla. -- The Putnam County School Board approved a contract with VyStar Credit Union to open a branch at Palatka High School.
VyStar will spend more than $150,000 on the project and pay students to work at the campus branch.
The credit union says it will employ around a dozen students.
VyStar has multiple school branches in area counties, including Clay, Duval and St. Johns.
The branch plans to be ready to open by the start of the 2014-2015 school year.
