JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Walmart is looking to hire about 300 employees for its new Jacksonville-area stores. The retailer is opening four new Neighborhood Market locations this summer. The stores will open in Jacksonville, Middleburg and Fruit Cove.
Temporary hiring centers are open right now to accept applications.
- The hiring center for the new Mandarin and Fruit Cove locations is set up at 10550 Old Saint Augustine Road in Jacksonville.
- The hiring center for the new Jacksonville store on Merrill Road is set up at 11900 Atlantic Blvd. in Jacksonville.
Middleburg store manager Carrie Brown says the stores will be hiring both full- and part-time associates. “We are excited to add four new Walmart Neighborhood Markets to the Jacksonville-area and bring good jobs with great career opportunities to the area,” said Brown.
All locations are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Most new associates will begin work in May. Walmart is also accepting applications online
