JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- The "cold wave" is over and temperatures will be much milder the rest of this week.  No threat for a freeze tonight as lows only dip into the 40s.  Clouds will increase Tuesday ahead of a cold front and temperatures will be much warmer topping out in the 70s.  Scattered showers will develop with the cold front bringing some rain to many areas in the afternoon and evening but amounts will be light averaging a quarter of an inch or less across Southeast Georgia and a tenth of an inch or less for Northeast Florida and metro Jacksonville.  Temperatures will turn briefly cooler Wednesday before getting back to 70+ Thursday and Friday.
