JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- Nearly 100 people helped set a new world record at Jacksonville Beach's Adventure Landing.

The continuous water slide record went down after nearly 34 hours thanks to Craig Rogers and others. The contest began Friday at midnight with 96 people going up and down the water slide at the amusement park.

Ten people made it past the old record of 30 hours early Sunday morning. The event helped raise more than $2,000 for Wolfson Children's Hospital.
