Westside accident claims the life of motorcyclist
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An accident near the I-295 on-ramp at Wilson Boulevard left one person dead Wednesday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the driver of a Toyota Camry was driving west on Wilson Boulevard and attempting to turn onto the I-295 Southbound ramp.
The FHP accident report says the driver failed to see an oncoming motorcycle and the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the motorcycle, Gary Dunn, was killed in the accident.
The Florida Highway Patrol says charges are pending in this case.
