JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Rain will continue through the early evening with amounts less than a quarter of an inch for metro Jacksonville but enough to help cause a very slow commute.  Rainfall will reach as much as a half inch from Lake City to Gainesville but will be less than a tenth of an inch across Southeast Georgia.  The rain will end from west to east by late evening and the overnight will be mostly cloudy with areas of fog.
Saturday will be mild but with plenty of cloud cover.  A few showers will develop but long parts of the day will be dry as highs top out in the mid 70s but a little cooler at the beaches.
Temperatures will be even warmer Sunday topping out near 80 degrees under partly to mostly cloudy skies along with a few widely scattered showers.
