JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Rain will spread eastward this evening and become widespread making for a chilly, wet night.  Rain will fall in all areas on-and-off throughout the night with amounts averaging a quarter to a half inch.
The rain will briefly diminish Friday with just some lingering drizzle or very light rain at times.  Persistent clouds will insure a very cool day with highs stuck in the 50s.  Rain will increase again Friday night through Saturday with another half inch to an inch of rain -- locally more -- for much of Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
