Wet, stormy at times
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Ready for rain? It's in the forecast. In fact, there's at least an opportunity for rain each day this week.
Rain would not be a terrible thing. We could use it; we have a slight rain deficit for the year (-1.32"). This is also the time of year when dry weather and strong sunshine increase the fire danger. So showers are welcome.
Lightning will be a problem, however. A few of the the thunderstorms could be on the strong side.
Showers and thunderstorm coverage will come down somewhat as the week progresses (from scattered to isolated coverage).
